"Wild Goose Chase"
A man married a woman and thinks to himself he might not be good enough for her but applies himself and makes something of it and has fun bossing other people around in flawed ways, which may be obvious ... just because he married her ... and is involved with her.
The woman is head over heels like she's a part of history, compared to other people. It comes up, whereas before it was nonexistent and such suggestions would be glossed over, rather naturally. It was something she maybe didn't want to bring up naturally, but it came of use and came into a real existence as of a time in some way. The occurrence then seems out-of-place and a part of her identity and way of alienating herself from certain others sometimes.
The daughter is offended because she thinks with other people, like me thrown in like a puppet, it's not catered to her like her mother does. She is used to having her mom it seems but thinks other people don't butter her up, surround her, and "boost" her "ego" as much. She might not like them as much, but she doesn't feel as served, worshiped, and adored. It seems her mother had a different message for her, to look better in public and maybe in her own jealousy of the opportunities she can give her daughter.
Disclaimer: I am not being sarcastic, like most Americans; sometimes, I'm just stating facts without offense. This is, after all, "Interesting Posts About Other People," something important and hard to come by. If you'll look, none of it is really offensive and it might be a waste and a pity to edit it if possible.. I respect these people, too, but they may not like me, in some crucial ways. A lot of people secretly exchange inappropriate feelings about these things, but that's too bad if some problems are created. You know, Americans make mistakes and make the language moot, when some vocabulary words were already in line, it seems/feels. I like these words, too. I used them in unoffensive ways, too. I can only guess that people think everything is a suggestion that points to things other people have going against them. I am mainly not editing because I sensed it may not make a difference unless I delete it. Let me know if you want me to change anything, but I didn't name any names.
